ReplyDeleteArticle omits the coding certification issue as well as staying current with CMS regulations. I'd also point out that medical billing is a very competitive field with a lot of small companies with experienced, certified people knocking on doors as well.
ReplyDeleteIt's as much a sales job as a billing/coding job. So think thru that.
i don't think that Coding Certification remains necessary once you have strong experience in Medical Coding. Yes, we need to be updated with current CMS regulations.
