Spok Held Healthcare Communications Conference on the Road

Spok’s annual healthcare communications conference is providing attendees something very new and fresh this year. Rather than 1 event, Connect sixteen will be a series of day-long programs held in 6 locations around the country, with the theme of “On the Road: Continuing the Conversation.” Like the yearly gathering, the Connect 16 events will provide a lively forum for healthcare leaders and industry experts to share innovative concepts and discuss trends in healthcare communications.

“We opted to hold regional conferences this year in an attempt to bring the best of our annual event to more persons,” claimed Vincent D. Kelly, chief executive officer of Spok Holdings, Inc. “These 1-day gatherings will give all the primary elements from our national event, involving industry trend sessions, case studies, networking, and chances to learn more about Spok’s plans for the future.”

Each event will feature sessions on strategic secure text messaging, how to make and maintain a mobile program, the future of the contact center and a regional case study. Participants will also have the chance to meet with Spok staff and partners, explore new communication options, and discuss emerging trends with industry coworkers.
