A latest Gallup poll and a poll implemented shortly after 9/11 shed light on how healthcare’s hyperinflation and under-performance is fueling the Trump and Sanders phenomena. Financial anxiety and a normal sense that things are not working sow the seed for movements. On the bright side, the horrible under-performance of how healthcare gets purchased and delivered has caused a few positive reactions already:
- Business coalitions are searching to revolutionize how their members buy healthcare.
- Individual business owners are showing how they can spend 50 percent less on health benefits while delivering outstanding health benefits, making better the overall benefits packages and re-investing money otherwise squandered on healthcare into their communities to decrease crime by over 60 percent and more than double graduation rates.
- Local governments are paradoxically showing they can slash healthcare costs by making better the health benefits.
