DirectTrust observed almost 350% growth in various health data exchanges in Q1 2016 as compared to the Q1 2015.
DirectTrust has visualized a considerable amount of growth in the 1st quarter of 2016, demonstrating the agency’s commitment to health data exchange and health data interoperability.
In accordance to a public statement, the number of healthcare agencies served through DirectTrust’s health information service providers (HISPs) increased by 46% compared to the 1st quarter of 2015. The present total of healthcare organizations under DirectTrust now reaches 58,000 agencies.
DirectTrust also saw an increase in the number of lines which can exchange PHI, growing 57% since quarter one of 2015, or to 1.2 million trusted exchange addresses.
There were almost 20 million health data exchanges in quarter one 2016, which is a 350% increase from quarter one 2015.
